Company Language The official company language is English (knowledge base and documents), so proficiency is required. The company is located and operates in Italy. Being fluent in the Italian language is mandatory. Responsibilities As an Account Executive, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and nurturing customer relationships. You will be focusing on maintaining the sales pipeline, securing new business, and fostering long-term customer partnerships. This role requires a hands-on, results-oriented person with a proactive approach. Key responsibilities: Secure deals and deliver results , managing the entire sales cycle, from initial contact and discovery meetings to negotiation and contract closure. Maintain and update the CRM , with a strong focus on tools such as Pipedrive , ensuring accuracy and organization. Collaborate with the BDR team to push opportunities through the sales pipeline and achieve revenue goals. Gather customer feedback to identify market trends and generate strategic insights that benefit the customer and product teams. Deliver professional, tailored presentations that address the unique needs of each customer. Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing knowledge , best practices, and fostering collaboration and supporting the professional growth of the Hiop team members. What are the essential requirements and skills? A degree in business or technical-business (e. g. , management engineering, data analysis, computer science), or related fields. 3 to 5 years in an Account Executive role, preferably within a SaaS company. A solid understanding of technology and the tech market landscape. Hands-on experience with CRM platforms , smart automations, and expertise in managing a data-driven pipeline. Ability to extract and share actionable insights from documentation, to empower product development, enhance marketing strategies, and strengthen community engagement. Results-oriented approach, exceptional communication skills , strong teamwork capabilities, excellent negotiation skills , and a talent for building and managing customer relationships. Preferred Qualifications Additional qualifications that will set you apart include: Previous experience in an Account Executive position within a tech scale-up or similar fast-paced, high-growth environments. Proficiency in a third language (or more). Working Conditions Fixed-term contract convertible into a permanent contract upon achievement of objectives communicated during hiring.
