MPD is a fast-growing scale-up that offers international operation and marketing services.

The company was launched in 2018 in the Netherlands, and since 2019 we have an office in Lucca.

To strengthen our future growth, we are in need for an experienced parttime 0. 2fte Financial Director/CFO.

A professional that is stimulated to coach a young team and ambitious organization and help set a strong fundament.

Tasks

The Financial Director/CFO will provide strategic direction, enabling the achievement of the organizational and growth objectives.

You will be responsible for primary oversight of the company's financial health.

Setup financial control functions and providing strategic guidance to support the company's growth requirements.

You'll join the leadership team and shape the company towards its next phase.

An internal accountant will support on the day to day administrative activities.

Activities such as

- Finalize the business finance strategy for enabling organic and inorganic growth of the business

- Partner with the Managing Director, and other key stakeholders to ensure that financial plans are aligned with business goals and capital raising activities.

- Work closely with the internal accountant on the analysis of business spending and identify areas for cost optimization and improvement

- Architect and own executive dashboards and scorecards

- Develop and maintain innovative finance and accounting policies

- Supervise and control operating costs on all fronts

- In cooperation with the MT implement systems and processes to optimize cost

2/4 days per month is the expectations.

Occassionally during project, more often.

**Requirements**:

- -+10 years' experience in Finance and Accounting functions, with past experience as a Controller and preferable investment rounds

- 5+ years in a leadership position, managing direct reports

- Sharp commercial/business sense coupled with strong functional and technical knowledge

- Good understanding of international taxes

- Proactive planner with dexterity in identifying and adopting emerging trends and addressing industry requirements to achieve organizational objectives

- In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping

- Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management

- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models

- Familiarity with Ecommerce and start-up environment preferred

- Act as coach, mentor, and build a best-in-class organization
