YOUR TEAMYou'd be working in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary group, where molecular biologists, genomic technologists and computational scientists collaborate, each with their own expertise, to carry out common research. Within the team, your main responsibilities will be:To manage large amounts of sequencing data and to set up standardized DNAseq/RNAseq analysis pipelines and software infrastructure required for the Genomics Facility users. WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU SHINEMaster in Bioinformatics, computational biology, or a related fieldAt least 2 years of documented experience in the fieldDocumented experience with the analysis of high throughput DNA/RNA sequencing data and command of the related computational tools. Strong knowledge of the main bioinformatics data types and formatsProficiency in working in a Linux environment and experience with HPC clusters and scheduling systems (e. g.

Slurm, PBS)Background in (molecular) biology, good communication skills and willingness to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment are essential, as the successful candidate will interact extensively with experimental life scientists at IITThe ability to properly document, organize and publish research dataGood command in spoken and written EnglishEXTRA AWESOMEA good proficiency in R or PythonExperience with version control systems and repositories (e. g.
