The following can participate in the selection procedure:

Scholars in possession of the national scientific qualification, pursuant to art.

16 of Law no.

240/2010, for the Insolvency Sector. Professors already in service at other Italian universities, in the bracket corresponding to that for which the selection is announced. Scholars permanently engaged abroad in research or teaching at university level, in a position of equal level to those covered by the announcement. Those who, at the time of submitting the application, have a degree of kinship or affinity, up to and including the fourth degree, with a professor belonging to the Department requesting the activation of the post or structure that performs the call or with the Rector, the General Manager or a member of the Board of Directors of the University of Parma.

The requirements for admission must be met on the expiry date of the deadline for submitting the application.

ResponsibilitiesTeaching activity for the academic discipline: Teaching activity pertinent to the Academic Discipline MEDS-09/A for the Courses and the Postgraduate Schools of the Department of Medicine and Surgery, with special reference to the Course in Medicine and Surgery located in Piacenza.

Clinical and translational research activity pertinent to the Academic Discipline MEDS-09/A, with particular reference to gastro-intestinal tumors.

Participation in national and international calls for research grants.

Clinical activity pertinent to the Academic Discipline MEDS-09/A, to be performed at the Piacenza AUSL.

The activity will consist in the clinical management of patients with cancers at the main areas of the body, from diagnosis to personalized therapy, including cooperative interactions with specialist Clinical Units in the framework of multidisciplinary paths.

General Assessment CriteriaFor the evaluation of teaching activities, supplementary teaching and service to students, scientific research activity and scientific publications, the internationally recognized quality standards will be taken into consideration, pursuant to art.

240/2010 and the provisions of the Ministerial Decree MIUR n. 344 of 4 August 2011.

- Consolidated professional expertise in the management of patients affected by oncological pathologies of all the main anatomical districts with case studies, in terms of volumes and complexity, consistent with a highly complex and large hospital structure.

- Contents of the didactic examination: A lecture to medical students concerning the etiopathogenesis, diagnosis and therapy of a type of gastro-intestinal cancer.
