The following can participate in the aforementioned selection procedure:

Candidates in possession of the national scientific qualification, pursuant to art.

16, of Law no.

240/2010, for the Insolvency Sector, or for one of the Insolvency Sectors, included in the same Macro Sector and for the functions covered by the proceeding, or for higher functions, provided that they are not already holders of the same higher functions; Professors already in service at other Italian universities, in the bracket corresponding to that for which the selection is announced; Scholars permanently engaged abroad in research or teaching at university level, in a position of equal level to those covered by the announcement, on the basis of correspondence tables, updated every three years, defined by the MUR, after consulting the CUN.

Those who, at the time of submitting the application, have a degree of kinship or affinity, up to and including the fourth degree, with a professor belonging to the Department requesting the activation of the post or structure that carries out cannot participate in the procedure.

Specific FunctionsThe Professor must perform the following functions:

Didactics: Teaching activity (Bachelor's Degree Courses and Master's Degree Courses) and advanced teaching activity (Post-Graduate Courses) within the courses offered under the Academic Discipline AGRI-08/A: Agricultural, Food, and Environmental Microbiology.

Research: Supervision of research projects on topics relevant to the Academic Discipline AGRI-08/A: Agricultural, Food, and Environmental Microbiology.

Activities include participation in national and international competitive funding programs, publication of high-impact scientific articles, and other scholarly contributions.

Administration: Organizational duties include participation, often in roles of responsibility and coordination, in the institutional bodies managing the Department and its degree programs, as well as in committees on specific topics.

Research Focus: Research activities focus on the study and management of microbiomes of interest in the food sector, with particular emphasis on lactic acid bacteria and their application to promote sustainability and innovation in biotechnological processes.

This includes the production of microbial metabolites for the food, industrial, and cosmetic sectors.

General evaluation criteria: Internationally recognized assessment standards in accordance with art.
