Position Summary We are looking for trainees with an interest in M&A, bank finance and capital markets transactions to join our Milan office. You shall have strong academic credentials and a genuine interest in financing transactions and cross-border M&A. You shall also be ambitious and passionate about work, ready for the challenges of working in a global law firm, service-minded with strong interpersonal skills and able to work in a team.

Trainees will work with all the Milan partners and with teams based in other offices. Our Milan office offers the unique opportunity to gain diverse experience in multi-jurisdictional transactions through an 18-month rotation program during which you will work in the main legal areas of our office: Capital Markets, Banking and Corporate.

Duties and Accountabilities You will help structuring, drafting and negotiating a variety of corporate transactions (share/asset purchase agreement, shareholders' agreements, subscription agreements, joint ventures); you will advise founders, companies and board of directors on a wide range of corporate matters.

Your main duties will be:

Drafting and reviewing legal and technical documentationConducting legal and technical researchWorking directly with clientsInvolvement in due diligence – analysis of agreements and their subsequent descriptionDrafting legal memoranda on broad range of topics arising under commercial law and corporate law precedentsAnalyzing commercial and legal informationManaging graduates as a part of the team Qualifications Law degree from an Italian University;Strong academic background;Fluency in both Italian and English;LL. M. studies or work experience abroad preferred;Excellent communication and negotiation skills;Very good computer skills;We look for highly motivated individuals with excellent academic credentials, high performance mentality, very good analytical skills and a strong commitment to the practice of law in a global and diverse law firm.
