For our own projects, we are looking for: 3D PIPING DESIGNER Ref code: CR_2410-132_CC3D Piping Designer Job summary MISSION: Responsible for producing detailed piping designs and layouts using 3D modeling software. This position plays a key role in ensuring the efficient and accurate design of piping systems that meet project specifications and industry standards.

TASKS: Develop detailed 3D piping layouts and designs for onshore Oil & Gas facilities, adhering to project requirements and Client standards. Prepare piping models, isometric drawings, and general arrangement drawings using industry-standard software (e. g. , SP3D, PDMS, or AutoCAD). Ensure proper integration of piping systems with other disciplines, including structural, mechanical, and electrical systems. Create piping designs for both new installations and modifications to existing facilities, with attention to routing, space constraints, and safety requirements. Select appropriate piping materials based on project specifications and standards, ensuring compliance with industry codes such as ASME, API, and ASTM. Collaborate with procurement and material control teams to prepare material take-offs and ensure the availability of required piping materials. Participate in 3D model reviews (if required) to resolve any design conflicts or issues. Ensure proper coordination between piping designs and other engineering disciplines (structural, mechanical, instrumentation) to avoid clashes or design errors. Review vendor drawings and ensure the compatibility of piping systems with equipment and mechanical components. Ensure all piping designs comply with international standards, including safety, maintainability, and accessibility requirements. Follow project guidelines and specifications for design deliverables, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and project standards. Prepare and update detailed piping design documents, including isometric drawings, piping layouts, and support details. Ensure accurate documentation of as-built piping systems, maintaining comprehensive records for project closeout and turnover to operations. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related field. 8+ years of experience in piping design within the Oil & Gas sector, specifically in EPC onshore projects. Previous experience with ADNOC standards is preferred. Experience with 3D modeling softwares such as SP3D, PDMS, AutoCAD, and Navisworks. Fluent level of Italian and English, written and spoken.
