As a passionate and proactive AAC Trainer, you will join our dynamic and multicultural sales team based in Spain and Italy. Our goal is that even more people with language and speech difficulties should have the opportunity to be able to communicate independently and you will play a key role in spreading knowledge nation-wide about Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), driving awareness and delivering essential support to schools, clinicians, and other stakeholders.
You will be an important link between our regional sales representatives, professionals, local resellers and their networks to ensure a strong collaboration. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in AAC (Comunicazione Aumentativa e Alternativa) who enjoys delivering training, building relationships, and creating impact!
Please note: This role is primarily remote, including regular travel within Italy and occasionally to Spain or Sweden, approximately 1-2 nights away per week, which will be communicated in advance.
In this role, you will: Events & Awareness: Organize, plan, and lead workshops, webinars, conferences, exhibitions, and trainings to increase interest in our AAC solutions.
Building Networks: Nurture and maintain a strong relationship with users, professionals and opinion leaders, both face-to-face and digital.
Innovative Learning: Contribute and collaborate to design and update educational offerings, ensuring relevance, quality, and engagement.
Collaboration: Actively looking for new sales opportunities and partnering with our Account Manager and Marketing Specialist. Identifying new sales leads, sharing them with regional sales teams and resellers.
Please note: Whether you are currently a speech therapist, occupational therapist or pediatric psychomotor therapist, if you are passionate about Assistive Technology and working towards knowledge sharing and spreading awareness in centers, rehabilitation centers, hospitals, schools, we are looking forward to hearing from you!
We are looking for someone that has: Educational Background: Degree in Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Neurodevelopment Therapy. A foundational understanding of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and language development is required.
Experience with Assistive Technology: At least 3 years of relevant experience in AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) is appreciated. Familiarity with using AAC tools and technologies is required.
Facilitation Skills: Confidence in presenting and delivering engaging training sessions both virtual and in-person.
Communication skills: Full proficiency in both English and Italian (written and verbal) is required, along with networking skills to build credibility and trust with recommenders.
Organization & Autonomy: Ability to manage multiple events and tasks independently with a high standard of quality.
Driver's License (B): Regular travel within Italy is part of this role, and a valid driver's license is preferred.
