Ac - Sales Area Manager Professional Channel
Position Summary
Job Purpose
Coordinating and managing all sales activities in the thermo-hydraulic and electrical channels, supporting and monitoring Sales Agencies in reaching the assigned sales targets assigned for southern Italy (Sicilia and Calabria).
Role and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement sales activities to increase market share, brand awareness and coverage of Samsung in the assigned areas.
- Coordinate Sales Agents, also by visiting all major customers (Aircon specialized installers / wholesalers) on a regular basis in order to catch any possible sales opportunity.
- Establish, develop and maintain strong commercial relationships with all buyers and key persons within major customers.
- Achieve significant penetration of major key accounts defined in accordance with the BU Head (Consultants / Big installers).
- Close deals ensuring that contracts are finalized within the correct timeframes throughout the whole area.
- Manage all aspects of sales training, organize meetings and product presentations with AC Installers in order to cultivate demand and reach and maintain a continuous channel development.
- Monitor and control the sales activities of each Sales Agent in order to guarantee sales performances.
- Ensure a timely and efficient market data flow (key customers stock, sell-out) from the field sales to the SCM dept.
- Support Agents and/or customers in the pre-sales phase providing technical expertise in the definition of the proposal.
- Provide competitors intelligence (promotional activities and pricing) to product marketing.
Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements:
Educational Background: High School / Bachelor, Major in Economics a plus.
Professional Background: 3-5 years' experience in Professional channels sales (highly preferred Aircon manufacturers).
Computer Knowledge: Very good MS Office tools.
Language Knowledge: Very good written English; good spoken English.
