To strengthen our **Patient Access & External Engagement** team, based in **Milan**, Italy, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of**:Access Lead Immunology Italy.

**About the role**:

Support the development and implementation of market access, health economics and outcomes research activities to maintain optimal access for UCB portfolio and pipeline.

Contribute to position UCB as the patient preferred biotech company by focusing on a value-based approach and implementing activities that improve the patient experience with UCB solutions.

**What you will do**:

- Lead the preparation of pricing and reimbursement dossiers for submission to health authorities, technology assessment boards, and payers

- Collaborate with other Patient Access & External Engagement (PAEE) Team function to build PAEE framework to support drug access to the patients through a holistic & multi-stakeholders approach

- Lead Access strategy

- Develop and implement health economics and outcomes research activities for UCB working with Pricing Lead, Patient Access Solution Lead and Patient Value Units

- In collaboration with Pricing Lead customize cost-effectiveness and budget impact models for disease areas of competency using available clinical evidence and cost parameters

- Develop health economics arguments and strategy to support market access activities

- Support Field Patient Access team in the integration of UCB products in the regional/local formularies developing appropriate local value dossiers

- Provide the market access perspective to support the assessment of opportunities for emerging and commercially marketed products

- Identify and provide analytical support for business-oriented actions based on changes in the healthcare system and the consequences of these changes for UCB

- Develop market access arguments to support pricing & reimbursement of new and existing products

- Contribute to ensure the delivery of patient value-added initiatives

- Estimate impact of pharmaceutical cost containment measures on UCB portfolio

- Collaborate with Patient Access Solution Lead to develop real world evidence study protocols from the health economics perspective

- Collaborate with Patient Access Solution Lead for the development & communication of health economics study/research, abstracts/presentations at congresses and submission of manuscript to Journals

- Monitor and analyze changes in the areas of interest to the NHS

**Interested?

For this position you'll need the following education, experience and skills**:

- Minimum 3 years' experience in health economics/market access rôle

- Strong strategical & analytical skills

- Ambitious and thinker on searching new solutions and opportunities

- Attitude to work in a multi-function team

- Attitude to change status-quo

- Ability to work unsupervised and to take the initiative when needed

- Make rapid decision aligned to UCB strategy

- Comprehensive knowledge of the Italian access ecosystem

- Self-motivated, well organized, able to operate independently and in a team environment

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Results and detail-orientated

- Flexible, adaptable but focused and persistent

- Willing and able to travel as required by workload (10-20%)

- Fluent in English
