Account Executive Interventional Imaging (Italy) M/F(29704 )Job Purpose The purpose of the Account Executive Interventional Imaging is to focus on developing & implementing the new II Strategy, considering the refocus of Lipiodol to grow the business, by producing a pipeline of opportunities.
Principal Responsibilities: Drive the country agenda to plan and execute II Strategy to maximize salesIdentify the key areas as per the new Lipiodol re-focus, accelerating actions on medical education to drive growth. Identifying, segmenting & mapping potential target opportunitiesDeveloping & implementing pipeline plansDeliver on defined sales budget for target segmentProduces market share data by modalityEngaging with / managing key decision makersBecome the expert by developing knowledge surrounding competitive activityParticipate in national, local and European congressesLead territory team reviews and updates of account plan based on changing market, customer conditions, and competitive activity. Maximise access to Guerbet Products by developing II business opportunities Ability to build relationships and expand company's presence within labs. Passion for learning clinical cases. Ability to build trust with physicians, by providing solutions based on scientific approaches. Increase penetration through engaging with appropriate KOLs and referring clinicians to develop clinical knowledge and expertise, leveraging Guerbet Medical Education resources to accelerate Lipiodol growthDevelop OEM and private sector businessEstablish Guerbet as reliable partnersCollaboratively work to develop target accounts by coordinating the involvement of other company personnel when neededTeamwork – Commitment to the successful achievement of the team and organizational goals through a desire to participate with and help other members of the team from different business lines. Customer Service Focus – Demonstrate a focus on listening to and understanding the customer needs and then delighting the customer by exceeding service and quality expectationsProficient computer skills including: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
General working knowledge of the internet for business use. Demonstrated ability to positively receive and respond to feedback for improvement and developmentDemonstrated ability to meet and exceed projected sales goalsExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervisionAbility to develop accurate short and long-term plans, forecasting, and business analysisStrong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively with people individually and in groups: ability to communicate with technical and non-technical colleagues; experience establishing and maintaining effective relationships across departmentsExperience / Skills: Education Preferably RadiologyLife Sciences-related (medical, scientific, pharmacy, radiography)Additional, Business Administration degree is a strong plusExperience Minimum 3 years of selling experience within the pharma/medical devices industry, with familiarity and knowledge of oncology doctors within Interventional Radiology, Interventional Oncology, Endovascular, and Vascular disciplines. Deep relationships with access to Interventional Radiology clinicians are required. Strong organizational & communication skillsStrong understanding of sales processes and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements. Preferred Skills/Qualifications Extensive Travel requirementWork flexible hoursValid driver licenseQuickly develop strong and effective selling skillsVisual acuity and analytical skill to distinguish fine detailManual dexterity to use common Interventional Radiology department equipment and perform sterile techniques as requiredMust possess the ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of timeFull working proficiency in ItalianRelationship with others Reports directly to the Area Sales Manager or Business Development Manager.
Scope of position The role is field-based and requires extensive travel within the assigned territory.
