**About This Role**:
The Account Executive based in Milan grows Forrester's client base in Italy, starting with an installed base and dedicating significant time in prospecting and closing accounts to meet monthly and quarterly quotas.
This role entails client retention, territory building, and eventually hybrid new business/account management work.
Success in this position brings the opportunity to demonstrate Forrester's capabilities and business fit to CEOs, CIOs, CMOs, and other top-level executives within Italy's billion-plus user companies.
**- Achieve a new business sales quota in the assigned territory.
- Prospect and close appropriate accounts from the assigned territory.
- Produce accurate and timely forecasts.
- Understand the changing business and technology issues and needs that potential clients face.
- Work with research teams to better understand the Forrester value proposition for prospects.
- Develop a full understanding of Forrester's complete product offerings, with an emphasis on business outcomes.
**Job Requirements**:
- A bachelor's degree.
- Two or more years' successful sales to C-level executives, prospecting and selling to billion-plus user companies in different industry verticals (finance, retail, manufacturing, utilities, CPG, etc.
).
- History of developing new business, achieving bookings goals, and managing personal sales strategies; previous experience as an account manager in a technology vendor company is more than welcome.
- A team player with strong business acumen; mastery in aligning client business objectives with Forrester solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Effective organization and time management skills.
- The ability to make cold calls, book meetings, and travel.
- Willingness to be based in Milan metropolitan area.
