At Mimecast, we're growing our team in Italy and have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Account Executive to continue the expansion of our global reach in the region. You will work with a set of enterprises, including our largest prospects and the Named and Territory Accounts of Italy to help them become loyal customers. It's your job to deliver the professionalism, consultation, and innovation they expect. This segmentation will allow the development of a run rate business while also exploring large opportunities within the biggest potentials.
Ultimately, you will also have a proven track record in generating and winning new business in IT sales, preferably Cyber Security. As a partner-centric organization, Mimecast's Account Executive will be known by and connected with our loyal partner community. You'll collaborate with other areas across the business to build a pipeline of new business opportunities, which they can successfully convert into new customers. Experience in delivering innovative partner business plans and seeing them through to success will put you in an excellent position to get this role.
What You'll Do Develop Opportunities: Proactively identify sales opportunities and the strategyAcquire Clients: Present tailored solutions to secure new accounts and build long-term relationships. Manage Pipeline: Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads focused on growth. Achieve Quotas: Meet and exceed revenue targets consistently. Collaborate with Channels: Work with channel partners to drive campaigns and customer acquisition. Provide Market Insights: Stay informed on trends and dynamics to uncover new opportunities. Support Sales Enablement: Collaborate with internal teams to enhance sales tools and strategies. What You'll Bring Experience and contacts within the Italian Cyber communitySuccessful experience with new logo acquisition and customer management– meeting and exceeding quotas in a fast-paced sales environmentExperience working with the Channel and PartnersStrong IT, SaaS, or cybersecurity sales experienceStrong consultative selling skills and understanding of customer needs. Understanding of cyber pain points and mid-market buying processesIdeally experience with Salesforce, Demandbase, Gong, and ZoomInfo. Solid knowledge of sales process including MEDDIC, Force Management, Challenger and Spin Sales ProcessThe ability to travel approximately 50% of the time to regional meetings with prospects, customers, channel partners, ecosystem/integration partners and field marketing eventsFull language proficiency in Italian and EnglishIdeally located in Greater Milano Metropolitan AreaStrong communication skills (Written, Verbal and Presentation)Why Join Us?
