ACCOUNT MANAGER
Description of the role:
The primary purpose is to promote the Moog motion control, product portfolio for industrial automation within the assigned focus markets (Servovalves, EH-EM Actuators, Hybrid systems, EH-EM solutions, piston pumps, brushless motors, electric drives, Motion Controllers, Roller screws, Ball screws).
Other than finding new business the account manager has also the responsibility to retain and manage the existing customers' base assigned and promote new business within them.
Main Accountabilities of the role:
1.
Identify, pursue and secure profitable business to meet the objectives of an agreed sales plan, by both protecting existing business and generating new
2.
Maintain close contact with assigned customers, and provide them with a constant level of excellent customer service
3.
Understand the assigned markets, including competitor activity, and monitor the wants and needs of the customers, effectively representing them within Moog
4.
Prepare a sales plan and sales forecasts under the direction of the Commercial Direction and report regularly to management on activities and opportunities within assigned territory
5.
Maintain a good understanding of Moog products and services being sold
6.
Represent and promote Moog effectively in accordance with the Moog Industrial strategy and brand.
7.
Follow laid down Moog business processes
Desires Qualifications:
1.
Engineering degree: MSC or BSC (or equivalent)
2.
Deep knowledge of the Industrial automation market
3.
Progressive field sales experience with engineered products
5.
Communicative, persuasive, confidence building personality.
Team player
7.
Proven planning, organizing and leadership skills including willingness to deal with management tools and complex business processes
8.
Familiar with common IT sales tools like CRM.
9.
Fluent in English and Italian native speaker
Beyond the qualifications listed above, it's preferred that he has:
1.
Willingness to work in international environment
2.
Similar business background is preferred
3.
Eager to work in an environment promoting the proactivity and the not clear guideline
4.
Capable of managing technical meeting and discussion with customers and within Moog at the first level
5.
Capable of understanding the customer needs even not clearly expressed by the customer
6.
Capable of complex negotiation
7.
Capable to sell on value pricing rather than to sell just on price
8.
Capable to sell in a niche market environment
9.
Capable to sell solutions and customized products rather than standard (on catalogue) product
10.
Problem solving attitude
