Regional Sales ManagerThe opportunity to drive incremental growth for the Chemical Analysis Division's Environmental & Process Monitoring business in South- and East Europe awaits as Regional Sales Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Division Overview:The Chemical Analysis Division features innovative analytics, spanning from lab to line to field. Our business serves various industrial markets including pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, environment, process minerals, mining, coal, cement, and metals, as well as academic, government, safety, and security sectors. Location Options: Italy (preferred), Spain, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, or Poland Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with direct and indirect customers to establish and maintain a healthy pipeline of sales opportunities Develop and maintain Go-To-Market plans for the region in close collaboration with the local Channel Manager Understand major competitors' strengths and vulnerabilities and develop effective sales strategies Utilize creative approaches to close deals based on a 'must-win' mentality Requirements: Bachelor's Degree, advanced degrees preferred 5+ years of sales experience with a documented track record of success 2+ years of experience as an indirect people and/or distribution manager Proven experience selling capital equipment pieces Ability to travel 50%+ across the assigned territory Strong technical knowledge of the chemical and/or environmental industry and experience selling in those markets Self-starter with ability to work independently Ability to prospect new business and possess a 'hunter' attitude Strong communication skills - oral and written in English Strong organizational and time management skills Estimated Salary: $80, 000 - $110, 000 per year
