Account Manager Energy, Aws Energy&Utilities Emea
6+ years experience working in a technology or consulting company as the lead account and relationship manager for large / global organizations.
- 6+ years experience working in, or with, Energy companies, developing relationships with IT organizations and Line of Business leaders.
- BA or BS degree in computer science, engineering, business, marketing, or related field (MSC or MBA preferred)
- Working languages are Italian and English
Job summary
AWS is seeking a world class sales professional to manage our global customer relationship with some of the world's largest Energy companies.
The Account Manager (AM) will focus on selected Energy accounts and/or be responsible for developing relationships with specific business units and IT functions.
The AM will receive functional guidance from Global Account Manager, contribute in market activities as a key member of a regional AWS Energy sales team, and report to the regions Sales Leader.
As Account Manager (AM) you will be responsible for providing business leadership and vision for how AWS can support clients to reach their strategic objectives.
You will build and maintain key relationships with corporate IT and Line of Business leaders to identify, develop and manage opportunities, monitor deployment of projects and engage global AWS resources.
You will help define a CXO relationship strategy within the account, engaging AWS senior leaders for executive sponsorships, coordinate executive business reviews and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Experience as primary account manager of a global account, working with multiple business units, influencing governance and policy is a plus.
- Experience in large complex deal negotiations with a successful track record; establishing credibility quickly with senior level executives across the organizations.
- Strong understanding of AWS and/or technology as a service (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS) would be preferred but not required.
