Innovamat is an educational project that seeks to revolutionize how kids learn math!
Our mission is to transform the classroom into a space where children can develop their ability to think, reason and communicate through mathematical problem-solving.
Our materials, from digital to manipulative ones, facilitate the assessment and the personalization of learning in the 21st century classroom.
More than 210, 000 students from 1, 200 different schools use our teaching and learning materials every day and this revolution has only just begun. . . We need you to make it global!
**Innovamat's Community
We are a network of more than 200 people who are passionate about didactics, mathematics and technology.
This has led us to work with more than 1, 200 schools, empowering more than 210, 000 students and 12, 000 teachers.
We started in Catalonia, and we have managed to reach schools all around Spain, Chile and Ecuador.
This year, we are crossing even more borders by working schools in Italy, Mexico and the US.
**Your mission at Innovamat
Your mission will be to **create the first success cases in Italy**.
You will be co-responsible, together with an international team, for one of the most strategic projects that we have: to expand internationally.
It is an intrapreneurial mission which will require **understanding teachers' pedagogical practices**, acquire deep didactic and product knowledge, and ensure the best experience and use of Innovamat at schools.
**Your day-to-day at Innovamat
- Define the right strategies to help your portfolio of schools' accounts grow.
- Spend a lot of time on the phone or at school with teachers providing didactic, management or organizational advice.
- Create and nurture a relationship with school headmasters.
- Develop a thorough understanding of math didactics and of our product.
It'll be fundamental.
- Provide insights for product localization, which will be key for our long-term success in the Italian market.
- Support the Country Launcher in crafting the best sales strategy for the following sales campaign.
- Think of initiatives to become, overtime, the schools' math didactic expert partner in Italy.
- This may entail organizing training sessions, participating in national events, creating a network of schools
**What do we look for in you?
- 2+ years of experience performing similar tasks as Account Manager.
- Huge passion for contributing to our mission.
It will have to become yours.
- Real interest in working with teachers and understanding their profession.
This is a must.
- Willingness to be often on the road to visit schools.
It will be necessary!
- Great communication skills.
You'll need them!
- Resilience and humility.
We know that you'll make mistakes, what matters is learning from them and continuing to move forward.
- Ability to learn and adapt continuously.
This is a MUST for any intrapreneurial mission.
- Hunger to achieve our ambitious goals.

- Organization, enthusiasm and curiosity.

**Languages**:
- Italian - Excellent communication skills
- English and/or Spanish - Fluent (B2+)
**Nice to have
- Previous experience in a startup, ideally within edtech.
- Previous experience in the classroom (e. g.
teacher) or any other pedagogical role.

**The Selection Process

Our 30-45 minute conversation will give you more background on Innovamat, the role, and what you can expect of your experience at Innovamat.
Moreover, we will focus on knowing about your experience and understanding the fit to our values.
**Technical Step** - conducted by the hiring team.
You will be sent a technical exercise to prepare it and comment on it during the interview.
This step will focus on hard skills and domain knowledge required for the role.
This usually takes 60 minutes.
**Final interview** - if you arrive here, that means you are probably our finalist.
During this meeting, you will meet the last person responsible for the area for a final check and to negotiate conditions.
