We are currently looking for an Account Manager Lazio - Abruzzo, located in Rome.

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

Promote the full Leica Biosystems product and services portfolio through customer visit, relationship building and working as a team.

Own and meet the revenue targets in designated sales territory and accounts.

Proactively manage existing sales funnel through to a successful close.

Develop account-based sales plans and strategies in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager and broader team to grow the sales funnel within the territory, based on a deep understanding of customer short and long-term needs.

Own (public) tender projects within the defined territory

Participate in exhibitions, customer meetings and other events to support Leica brands and products

**The essential requirements of the job include**:

Scientific/Economic educational background (ideally Biology, Biotechnology) and a t least 5years experience selling equipment, consumables and services to the Healthcare industry

Strong experience in managing complex public Tenders

Proficient Italian and English

Willing to travel (a valid driving license is required)

Sound business acumen, ability to work in a collaborative environment, d etail and process oriented.

Operates with transparency and ability to build trust with team
