Piedmont and Milan areaBrief Description RoleConsulting and selling the research product portfolio to existing accounts as well as identifying and acquiring new clients.
Growing the research business and to meet sales budget for the research portfolio within assigned territory is a responsibility. Tasks & Core activitiesIs accountable to grow the research business and to meet sales budget for the research portfolio within assigned territorySells solutions and the full workflow for the research portfolio to existing and new clients in the areas of cellular research, immunology, cancer research, neuroscience, stem cell research and othersMaintains contact with existing customers to promote new products, closes deals, and grows sales, as well as to develops new prospects whilst maintaining a pipeline of opportunitiesMaintains proactively relationships with existing KOL's, whilst continually builds new KOL relationshipsConnects and works in close cooperation with other sales and sales support functions such as Clinical Account Managers, Technical Support team, Biopharma Account Managers, Flow and Imaging Application SpecialistsDevelops and implements an effective territory business plan in line with the company's strategic goalsProvides an accurate revenue forecast for the research portfolio within the assigned territoryOrganizes and conducts technical seminars within client accounts and to represent Miltenyi at national and international congresses and fairs Participates regularly in training to improve knowledge on research products and applicationsMonitors proactively competitor activities and new product launches, looks for new trends and potential new opportunities Plans and executes effective customer visits and record all activities and opportunities within the company's CRMEducationMSc/PhDKnowledge & SkillsProduct knowledgeMain topics: research portfolio and comprehensive work-flow solutionsRelated topics: clinical portfolio and translational solutionsCrucial knowledgeScientific knowledge in at least one of the following fields: stem cell research, haematology, cancer research or immunologyMethodical knowhowStandard sales techniques and methodsSpecific sales skills: long-term relationship selling, mapping, planningExcellent business communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)IT-ToolsMS office CRMLanguagesFluent English is mandatoryMore info
