Account Payable Associate - Fixed Term Contract

Position**:

The fixed term position is based in Rome.

Reporting to the Payable Team Coordinator, he/she ensure that all activities of industrial payable are correctly accounted.

**Main** Responsibilities

- Posting record invoices into the system

- Verify and posting invoices against purchase orders before issuing payment to vendors

- Clarify any questionable invoice items, prices or quantity discrepancies

- Ensure that all supplier statements are reconciled in a timely and accurate manner

- Ensure the accuracy of financial statements and handle financial monthly closing

- Verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records

- Monitoring records of outstanding payables

- Perform reconciliation of accounts

- Support the onboarding process of the new vendors

- Ensure the accuracy of financial documents for payment, auditing and tax purposes

**Profile**:

- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field preferred

- 1- 2 years of accounting experience

- Knowledge of SAP ECC and SAP4H

- Knowledge of Stealth3000 is a plus

- Strong knowledge of Office package (Excel, Word, Power Point)

- Time management capacity in order to respect deadline

- Organized and detail-oriented

- Look for and provide solutions for accounting issues (problem solving abilities)

- Ability to organize and work with others with team spirit

- Flexible and able to adapt quickly to changes

- Fluency in written and spoken English
