The account planner will utilise industry knowledge to help develop a strong business within Client Services and support internal teams to get campaigns setup accurately and in a timely manner and according to plan.
This is an important role supporting the Account Management Team at TikTok.
The Account Planner is responsible for tactical implementation of client accounts including the integration and planning work with cross-functional teams.
This member of the team will work with all departments in the org including Creator Solutions, Brand Strategy, Ad Ops, Sales Ops, Brand Partner Managers, Product, and Account Managers and Legal.
The Account Planner will be involved in Pre and Post-sales and will develop comprehensive multi-media plans leveraging our first in the class ad product suite.
**Responsibilities**:
- You will work closely with the Sales team to help upload and maintain Quotes and further IOs in the platform.
Create Quotes in the internal 3M system to help facilitate the bookings of our managed IO business.
- Working within the GBS Media & Entertainment team alongside Brand Partnerships Managers and Client Solutions Manager and XFN with Brand Strategy, Marketing Science, Content & Community departments
- You will work closely with Sales / Client Solutions to develop media plans for key clients with KPI deliverables in mind.
You will also work with the creative strategy team to support the planning/ implementation of campaigns to deliver against Client goals and work with AdOps to check and reserve the required inventory.
- You'll foster a key relationship with Sales Ops to ensure all clients and Advertisers data is accurately set up in the sales CRM tool.
- Maintaining a strong communication flow from approvers on bookings and encourage a smooth booking procedure.
You will be facilitating entry campaigns/contracts, ensuring they are issued accurately.
Additionally, you will work to gain new campaign approvals and align with legal where necessary to get agency contracts and campaign agreements approved.
- Aid the Sales team in pre-sale pipeline management, reporting, and opportunity accuracy in CRM system.
- There will be opportunities for you to work with the Creator team and manage influencers for custom campaigns and help ensure videos are received in a timely manner.
- Assist with reconciliation/ billing with the Clients Solution and Finance team
- Assist the sales team with responding to RFI's as and when required.
- The Account Planner is a key resource in getting campaigns set up according to the media plan and will support all departments in Adhoc duties when required.
- Monitoring HTC videos alongside ADE and CST
- Have the ability to collaborate, work cross-functionally and communicate effectively across multiple business functions and geographies
- Proactive attitude with excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills
- Experience diagnosing and solving technical problems with product and engineering teams is a big plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively translate technical language to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with previous CRM tools is a plus
- Experience dealing with multiple requests and being able to effectively keep on top of timelines and communications with the wider sales teams.
- Project management experience is desired
- Background as Strategist, Analyst, Marketing Intelligence & Insights Specialist within media companies, digital platforms, agencies (media, social or creative)
- Knowledge of Media Entertainment Industry is mandatory (at least in one of the following sub-verticals: cinema, tv, streaming, gaming or music)
- Knowledge of TikTok ecosystem, positioning and community
