Now, it's an exciting time to join our rapidly growing team with ample development opportunities. We are seeking an Accountant to join our dynamic team in Greensboro, NC.
About the role:
Hierarchically reporting to the Country manager and functionally reporting to the HQ CFO, the requested profile has already shown effectiveness and leadership in the coordination of a team and has the ambition and the interest to undertake a path of professional growth.
Main Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related fields
- At least 3 years of professional experience in external audit or in Administration and/or Finance department of international and structured Groups
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Keen analytic, organization and problem-solving skills
- Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of IAS/IFRS accounting standards will be considered as a plus
- Knowledge of SAP (FI/CO) system will be considered as a plus
- Collaborative attitude / work in a cooperative manner with both local and global teams
- International travel for training and meetings is possible
Main responsibilities:
- Responsibility on local Financial Statements (statutory) according to US GAAP
- Monthly / Yearly financial performance (IAS/IFRS based) preparation, ensuring the respect of Group due dates
- Improve the internal control system, in line with Group best practices, with a particular focus on:
Ø Stock reporting and analysis
Ø Cash flow reporting and analysis
Ø Receivables reporting and analysis
Ø Commissions accruals and payments
Ø Margin analysis
- Ensure the proper and constant compliance with local law and tax requirements
- Work closely with 3rd party providers (Payroll, Benefits, 401K, Tax, Bank, etc)
- Prepare and review payroll and month end activities for accuracy
- Work closely with the President/Managing Director to evaluate margins and trends
- Support the management in Budget and Forecast preparation
NOTE: This is not a remote position; office location Greensboro/High Point, NC Area near GSO.
