**About Aethos Milan

Aethos Milan is a boutique hotel and members club in Milan's vibrant Navigli district. With 32 individually designed rooms, a world-famous cocktail bar, a gym, and our Mediterranean restaurant we aim to make Aethos Milan a home for travelers and our members alike. Aethos is a member club, hotel & culinary destination in Milan. We are creating a new kind of premium experience for a community of conscious travelers and members. We're here to innovate, change, and re-invent the travel industry.

**Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities**:

- Checking and recording of incoming invoices

- Checking and recording of cash transactions (across various outlets within the facility)

- Verification and reconciliation of issued documents (PMS, Accounting System, SDI) and credit card receipts

- Verification of revenues generated for supplementary service partners

- Calculation and oversight of tourist tax

- Management of suspended transactions

- Handling of local administrative duties

**Core Competencies**:

- At least 2 years of accounting experience in the hotel industry, preferably within structured groups

- Accuracy in recording and analyzing financial transactions to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies

- Experience with industry-standard accounting software as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting

- Effective communication skills to convey financial information clearly to stakeholders, collaborate with team member

- Capacity to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies, investigate variances, and implement corrective actions to maintain financial accuracy

- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

- Flexibility to adjust to changes in accounting standards, company policies, or regulatory requirements, and willingness to learn new skills or technologies as needed

- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, adhering to ethical standards

- Fluent in English & Italian
