We are recruiting for an Assistant to be part of our integral Finance and Accounting team within the Energy sector.

This role will be based in our office in Genoa and the duties are as follows:

- Raising sales invoices and facilitating in the processing of sales invoices

- Investigating positive works in progress

- Processing supplier payments

- Liaising with and supporting Country Accountant regarding ad-hoc tasks and month end duties

- Identifying to Project Managers when invoice payments are made and when debt becomes overdue

- Supporting Project Managers and credit control as directed in pursuing debt resolution.

- Supporting Project Managers as directed in investigating cost queries and make journal corrections where necessary

- Expense note checking

- Timesheet administration

- Fluency in Italian and a good knowledge of English

- Ability to work as part of a team

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Proficient knowledge and use of MS Excel - intermediate to advanced level

- Ability to adapt to changing tasks/work activities

- Ability to efficiently assimilate proficient knowledge of company financial platforms

- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines

- Prior experience is not necessary
