On Behalf of our important customer, a multinational Fashion Company, we are looking a:

ACCOUNTING DIRECTOR (Importante Azienda Contract)

Duties and Responsabilities:

The primary purpose of this position is management of accounting and fiscal compliance, including Group US GAAP and local GAAP reporting and direct and indirect tax requirements of European legal entities.

In addition, oversight of the Accounts Payable and Inventory Control departments.

Ensure accurate and timely financial management information is produced and reported to the Group within strict deadlines for SEC reporting, including:

Month and Quarter-end closings, disclosures and consolidation

Monitor closely and coordinate work performed by local tax advisorsand accounting firms;

Main point of contact for external auditors

Act as the reference person for all corporate accounting queries and liaise with the US Finance team

Coordinate annual statutory reporting and filings, VAT and corporate taxation, including inspections and related queries

Maintain and improve the internal control environment in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley act requirements

Lead and drive the performance of General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Inventory accounting teams, and be a key player for business change and process improvement initiatives involving other departments

Support initiatives to implement new requirements for Group reporting and fiscal reporting

Provide top-quality assistance and support to all internal and external business partners

Profilo

Experience in analyzing business performance and developing financial plans within a manufacturing environment desirable

Technical knowledge, CPA with post qualification experience in practice or industry, experience with a Big 4 is a plus

Proficient in Excel, experience with JD Edwards Finance and SAP, a plus

Languages:

Fluent English is a mandatory requirement; Italian is a plus.

Very good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact multi-culturally

Ability to work under pressure and to adapt to changing environments
