**Responsibilities**:

**The role**:

- We are looking for an Accounting Manager with excellent management and organizational skills to join our European finance team based in Sofia, Bulgaria.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, payroll, Intercompany transactions.

- Manage and mentor a team of accountants , providing continuous guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and professional development.

- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in all entities within the scope, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year

- end closing processes.

- Responsible for the timely execution and coordination of the month-end close process, cash management reports, and balance sheet reconciliation.

- Manage bank accesses, processing and approving bank payments to suppliers

- Act as a main point of contact with Groupa ccounting and financial reporting function to ensure full operational compliance with Group policies

- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities to facilitate audits, tax filings, and other compliance requirements.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (treasury, controlling, group accounting) to streamline accounting processes, improve efficiency, and enhance financial reporting accuracy.

- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and best practices.

- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance with new standards.

- Assist in special projects (e. g. accountingsoftware implementation)Qualifications:

- University Degree in Accounting or Finance;

- Experience in Accounting at least 5 years covering end to

end accounting process;

- Previous experience in managing a team;

- Good knowledge of IFRS, Bulgarian National Accounting

Standards and tax legislation and regulations;

- Knowledge on personal income taxation, social security and

employment related legislation;

- Good communication and organizational skills;

- Very good command of spoken and written English language.

- Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills,
