Accounting Specialist
COMPANY PROFILE**:
**WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:
Responsible for maintaining accounting records and reporting for the assigned area of SAP Legal Entities.
Supports ACE team leader to ensure compliance with Group and local accounting principles as well as SOX and tax requirements.
Acts as a finance point of reference for CNH business functions as well as other departments.
**YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Manage the month-end/year-end close processes for the assigned area according to local and international accounting requirements
- Prepare documentation for internal and external auditors
- Participate to cross-functional projects tables or projects with the focus on accounting processes, to represent the accounting function and related requirements and guidelines
- Ensure, for the assigned area, integrity of end-to-end financial records in compliance with Business needs, Corporate directives and policies, Local and Corporate accounting principles.
- Manage selected General Ledger accounting activities to enable local and group accounting and statutory financial requirements to be met.
- Support effective internal control maintaining adequate filling of documentation and evidences and full reconciliation of General Ledger accounts balances with legacy or source data.
- Support timely effective books closing ensuring respect of closing calendar.
- Support accounting managers and controllers on arising accounting issues or anomalies promptly highlighting them and providing recommendations.
**YOUR KEY COMPETENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS**:
**_Education_
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Economics
**_ Technical Experience_
- Minimum 3 years of finance and / or accounting management experience in a financial reporting/General Ledger environment
- Knowledge of local regulatory and accounting reporting standards and procedures (IFRS, and US GAAP)
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting practices
- Knowledge of SOX principles and internal control procedures/management
- Strong PC skills and proficiency with spreadsheet programs (e. g.
SAP and Microsoft Office such as Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presenting and explaining financial reports to all levels within the organization including top management
- Ability to cross-functionally interact effectively in a large, international, matrix organization
- Strong proactive problem solver with solid analytical and critical thinking skills
- High ability to summarize and present financial data in an organized and concise manner to all levels within the organization
- Self-motivated to work independently having a well-researched and detail-oriented approach
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required
**LANGUAGES**_: _**English and Italian proficiency required, other languages an advantage
