Accounting Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to assist the Accounting manager in managing the day-to-day operations, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close, working closely with FSSC in Singapore.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in general accounting with a strong understanding of financial processes and controls.
Main responsibilities
General Ledger:
Perform month-end general ledger close and financial reporting using Navision system. Work with FSSC GL team in maintaining GL/audit reconciliation schedules in Excel and subsequently in Blackline on an ongoing basis. Perform general ledger journal preparation. Assist in the preparation of monthly LPE IFRS financial statements packages submission to head office for Group. Perform local statutory reporting and filing including Intrastat and Conai reporting. Support external and internal audits. Assist in Interco and Bank Reconciliations. Fixed Assets:
Work closely with operational and FSSC fixed asset team to maintain the fixed assets register, processing fixed activities and postings. Account Payables:
Work with AP team to ensure account payables status are up to date including accruals. Work with FSSC AP to maintain the up-to-date prepayment and aged account payables listing. Follow up with HR and local team for adoption and compliance to ASM expense policy. Assist in invoice processing including coding, discrepancies resolution and data entry into Navision. Account Receivables:
Work closely with FSS AR team & customers for collection to reduce AR aging overdue. SAP S4 Hana:
Participate in S4 design, adoption, and implementation. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Intermediate level of English. Resourceful and initiative-taking, ability to work independently. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Effective communication and people skills. Experience in multinational and/or manufacturing companies. Proficiency in accounting software SAP/Navision/Oracle and Microsoft Office, mainly Excel. #J-18808-Ljbffr
