In this role you will be responsible for recording, reporting, analyzing and communicating functional/business activity results.

You will also assist the function/business management teams in financial analysis necessary for decision-making.

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the independent processing of financial accounting, monthly/quarterly/yearly closing.

- Responsible for presenting and reporting key tax figures in accordance with local GAAP and US GAAP.

- Prepares year end statutory financial statement, according to local GAAP.

- Contributes to and monitors accuracy of transaction processing.

- Monitors, reports, and communicates function/business results.

- Performs BS, P&L and fixed assets reviews.

- Supports Internal & External audits.

- Provides financial analysis to function/business management teams as needed for project studies, options analysis.

Establishes and maintains an ongoing working relationship with other sub-processes and functions.

- Demonstrates technical accounting ability through at least one/two years of directly applicable experience.

- Helps drive change to reduce complexity in existing work processes and leads small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.

Requirements:

- A min Bachelor's degree in Finance/Economics/Business Administration or related field.

- Min 2-3 years of previous experience in controlling and/or cost accounting.

- Fluency in Italian and English.

Preferred skills:

- Experience with ERP systems (i. e.

SAP) and reporting tools.

- Ability to prepare a consolidated financial statement and/or to use Thomson Reuters will be an advantage.

- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.

- Attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Proven effective and professional communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal effectiveness.

- Proactivity attitude, problem-solving, teamwork and analytical thinking.
