Borg Warner Power Drive Systems is currently looking for a dynamic, results driven individual to join as Accounting Supervisor for our Italian Technical Center in Orsenigo. Location: Orsenigo, ItalyKey Responsibilities:Responsible for accountingManage & review monthly US Gaap closing activitiesPerform accounting reportings and analytical reviewPrepare statutory annual accounts in Italian GaapLiaise with auditors & lead financial statements auditActively participate in the SAP transition projectDemonstrate strong understanding of financial accounting systemsReport issues/key transactions to site controller and group accounting teamDrive continuous improvement in processesTrain & coach team member(s)Education & Experience:6-8 years of experience in accounting/audit, preferably in industryMaster Degree in Accounting/Management/Finance requiredBig 4 experience is a plusExperience in reporting to senior management is preferredGood knowledge of IFRS Italian GaapBasic knowledge of US GaapBasic knowledge on consolidationGood knowledge on taxation (direct and indirect)IT appetenceSAP ERP System knowledge preferredHFM or One Stream knowledge is a plusProficient Microsoft Excel userStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsOrganized with strong communication skillsProactive and keen for detailTeam-player and autonomousFluent in English and Italian requiredWhat we believe:Inclusion - We value diversity in people, ideas, and experiences.
