Accounting Technician - Italy

We continue to grow and increase our team and we are looking for someone for our Finance team in Italy who shares our purpose and brings value as an Accounting Technician in Brescia (Italy). Main responsibilities:Handle accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual closings in compliance with accounting standards and regulations;Management of all Accounts Receivable monthly processes: reconciliation of sales proceeds, management of clients' payments, preparation of reports;Accounts Payable: collection and booking vendor invoices;Support to other departments on invoicing and accounting issues or anomalies promptly highlighting them;Booking of General Ledger journal entries;Perform monthlybalance sheets account reconciliations;Support in the preparation of Financial Statements and periodic financial reports;Preparation of documents for fiscal and VAT declarations;Compute taxes and prepare tax returns, supported by external advisors;Support in the management of intercompany charges and transfer pricing documentation;Support the Finance team in audits, implementation of new projects and the continuous improvement of existing processes and activities;Maintain relationships with auditors and accounting advisors;Active participation in projects and initiative;Stay up-to-dateon Group, national and international accounting polices. Requirements:Higher education in Accounting, Economics and/or Management;Minimum professional experience of 3 to 5 years in a similar role;Knowledge of accounting and treasury management;Knowledge of IAS/IFRS Knowledge of intercompany transactions and international taxation Understanding of GAAP; reporting processes Knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel Good knowledge of English Knowledge of SAP will be considered a plus Good problem-solving skills with analytical approach Excellent communication skills and ability to build good relationships with both internal and external stakeholders Great time management and organizational skills Excellent detail-orientation;Ability to workunder pressure and with stringent deadlines Proactivity and ability to take initiative Team workingWhat do we offer?
