Our customer, located in Pinerolo, has commissioned us to search for a
Accounts Assistant
Summary and Expectations
The Accounts Assistant is responsible for the processing of financial paperwork through to
producing month end figures each month.
This position ensures that accounting transactions are properly and timely processed,
approved, recorded, posted and reported for accurate presentation of the financial
statements; ensures compliance with company's policies and internal controls.
This position also includes responsibilities for the personnel, office and manufacturing
departments.
Main
**Responsibilities**:
To ensure the bookkeeping is up to date and ready for the monthly reporting.
(Posting invoices, sales, cos, accruals, prepayments, depreciation, adjusting entries,
bank reconciliations, inter-company, adjusting entries);
To ensure payments are Importante Azienda on time;
Handling accounts payable and receivable;
To assist with month-end reporting including full analysis of the overheads;
To produce a monthly cash-flow forecast;
To produce a profit and loss and balance sheet each month;
To ensure that the accounts are up to date and accurate; To complete finance year
ends;
To arrange the company payroll ensuring that staff are paid andarranging tax and
national insurance payments; To complete the payroll year end;
To maintain our records for the statutory period and produce details for the monthly
analysis;
Providing administrative and clerical support as needed; &
Additional bookkeeping duties as designated by management
**Skills**:
A working knowledge of balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany,
accruals and prepayments
Experience in bookkeeping and accounting systems
Detail oriented and possess high level of accuracy
Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and/or with a team and take on new tasks
Ability to work with mínimal up-front guidance and take ownership of his/her work
Ability to proactively resolve or escalate issues across functions and follow up as
necessary
Intermediate experience with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook or similar programs
NetSuite and Concur experience a plus
