Accounts Payable Intern (6 Month Ftc)

The Account Payable Intern will be part of the Finance team based at the Milan office.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, in your role you will support the efficiency and effectiveness of the AP department.
You will collaborate with all Departments and with external suppliers.
This is a full-time position on a 6 Month Fixed-Term Contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn about the AP process.
- Learn about how to use Stealth to book the production invoices.
- Learn about how to use SAP to book the service invoices.
- Establish collaborative relationship with all other business department.
- Review monthly the VAT books to check and confirm the VAT code.
- Manage the daily invoice queries.
- Set up of reconciliation process between Aging Supplier with the general ledger.
- Monitor Weekly/Fortnightly supplier payment runs, allocate/post payments.
- Monitor un-posted items from the cashbook, contacting suppliers for missing invoices.
- Manage new supplier setups/change requests.
- Review of aged creditors listings.
- Manage filing and other ad hoc duties on request.
Your Talent:
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance or similar is desirable.
- Competent in Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines.
- Strong communication and team working skills.
- Ability to problem solve and work in a logical manner.
- Ability to be receptive of change and manage changes in working practices.
- Good attention to detail
- Competent in managing high volumes of data.
