The Role of Accounts Receivable: Reporting into the Assistant Director of Finance, you will be responsible for securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts, cash, checks and credit card transactions, resolving any discrepancies, maintaining invoice accounts, gathering relevant financial information and credit worthiness analysis and preparing financial reports; ensuring that all local and corporate policies and procedures are observed. What you bring: Two to five years of experience in a Finance Department within a hotel environment, a college/university education and a good understanding of Month-End Process; including the preparation of financial statements, accruals and journal entries and maintaining reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. You should have the highest level of integrity and transparency, strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional teams, the ability to prepare and deliver reports, effective presentations and to facilitate meetings, and a desire to promote a continuous learning environment that creates an atmosphere for professional development opportunities. You must possess the legal right to work in Italy and have fluency in Italian and English.
