ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT SUMMARY HR Consulting Solutions LLC is an international executive search firm retained by a fast-growing, highly respected engineering firm located in the Carolinas to recruit an Administrative Assistant.
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for supporting office operations, assisting with client communications, and handling various administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with office software, strong multitasking skills, and the ability to adapt to various responsibilities as needed.

Our client is licensed in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ohio.
The firm provides a wide array of civil engineering and environmental engineering services with offices located in Columbia, SC, Charleston, SC, Greenville, SC, Bluffton, SC, and Charlotte, NC.

Candidates who are hired will have the opportunity to select which of our office locations they prefer to work from.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide administrative support to the team, including scheduling, document preparation, and data entry.
Manage multi-line telephone systems and direct calls appropriately.
Utilize Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access), Corel Draw, and Adobe Illustrator to create and edit documents, presentations, and reports.
Conduct research and assist with projects to meet client needs.
Read and interpret documents such as operating instructions and procedure manuals.
Prepare routine correspondence and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Perform basic mathematical calculations, including computing rates, ratios, and percentages.
Interpret bar graphs and apply common-sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram-based instructions.
Manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic office environment.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) , Corel Draw , and Adobe Illustrator.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, procedures, and technical documents.
Experience handling multi-line phone systems in a professional setting.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with multiple variables in standardized situations.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask in a high-demand work environment while maintaining professionalism and client service.
