Administrative Support Assistant (Veterinary
Duties**:
- Serves as the point of contact for the day-to-day front office operations of a veterinary clinic.
Coordinates with clinic management to establish clinic schedule and appointment availability.
- Receives telephone calls and visitors to the clinic, determines the nature of call or visit, obtains identifying information, and verifies the patient's eligibility for treatment.
- Updates the existing medical record or collects sufficient information to prepare new record.
Provides concise accurate information to veterinary care provider on nature of the visit.
- Dispenses medications, annotates prescriptions and refills prescriptions in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Serves as clinic ordering official and Government Purchase Cardholder.
Processes purchasing documents.
At various times, orders, receives, and inventories veterinary supplies and pharmaceuticals.
- Completes bi-weekly payroll reports.
Prepares and submits required end of month reports.
Assists with preparation of the yearly clinical budget.
Initiates personnel actions at the direction of management.

- Ability to work occasional Saturdays for special events
- Must be able to receive all mandated immunizations to work in a direct-patient capacity and/or veterinary environment
- Must not have an aversion to animals, blood, bodily fluids, animal tissues, strong odors, needles, or sharp instruments.

**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Progressively work experience which demonstrates the knowledge and skills required to perform the duties of the position.
- Basic computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Suite or equivalent.
- Experience in using a point of sales software.
- Basic arithmetic expertise to balance cash draw, accept payments and provide change accurately.
- Typing proficiency - 40WPM.
**Best Qualified Criteria**:
- Clerical experience in a Veterinary Clinic or equivalent or working in an outpatient medical facility/operations as clerical-administrative support.

- Local commuting area is defined as **Vicenza, Italy **surrounding area within 50-mile radius; in addition to, you are considered eligible if one of the following applies: 1) you live outside of this area and are able to commute to work on a daily/as needed basis, 2) you are able to relocate yourself on your own expenses, 3) you are an involuntarily separated military member, or 4) you are a military spouse relocating to this installation
**Salary Information**:
Salary is pro-rated based on a 40 hour work week.
Hourly salary is:
- NF-03 $15. 25ph to $15. 75ph**Manual Applications**:
