Job Description Summary Provides expertise in analyzing technical learning needs for a business or function then designs and delivers training solutions.
Impacts quality of own scheduling, ordering, and tracking of all training courses organized in the Site, runs the system for qualification traceability (Skill Matrix).
Performs needs assessments for organizations, then designs and facilitates employee training materials and programs.
Training can include a variety of topics to meet an organization's needs.
Provides support in the process of developing and maintaining training programs.
Oversees training processes by monitoring training methods and giving feedback on training areas that need to be improved.
Works with other functions to identify training requirements and institutes plans for training new and existing employees, coaching, and skill development.
Uses technical skills to support the rest of the team and ensure all employees are working efficiently and to company standards.
Key Responsibilities Perform CVP (Competency Verification Process) for new employees and contractors. Develop and lead effective induction programs. Coordinate appropriate training activities for new recruits and current employees. Participate in qualification appraisals. Administer Skill Matrix. Design and deliver all systems learning and development solutions in conjunction with the relevant subject matter experts. Communicate with employees and discuss technical issues they are facing. Lead training sessions through in-person classes or online instruction. Develop training manuals that target tangible results. Ensure that training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective. Maintain training records (e. g. , trainee lists, schedules, attendance sheets). Administer training nominations, registration, and logistics. Gather feedback on sessions from attendees for improving future content and presentation. Coordinate with trainers, facilitators, training partners, and training beneficiaries. Contribute to the selection of appropriate training methods and materials. Plan, organize, facilitate, and order supplies for employee development and training events. Monitor and review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers. Research new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning and present this research. Create materials for the training sessions. Oversee the maintenance of records of curriculum and materials. Participate and assist in the development and implementation of plans. Oversee employee attendance and performance. Maintain knowledge of new methods and techniques for training, and training requirements applicable to the organization and/or industry. Review existing training materials produced by third parties to determine appropriateness and relevance. Communicate all training programs on a timely basis. Coordinate or perform administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training programs. Assess training materials prepared by instructors. Organize training sessions specific to various roles in the company. Required Qualifications Experience in a technical role, preferably in the energy or engineering sector. Proven experience in turbine assembly. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field is preferred; or equivalent experience. Knowledge of GE products and Quality tools is a plus. Demonstrated experience managing change in a dynamic, international, and fast-paced environment. Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills. Good knowledge of English and Italian, both written and spoken. Desired Characteristics Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
