RINA is currently recruiting for a Aerospace & Defense Business Developer to join its office in Genoa or Milan within the Mediterranean and Africa Engineering Commercial Management Division.
Mission The role of an Aerospace & Defense Business Developer at RINA Consulting S. p. A. is to drive growth and expand business opportunities, focusing on increasing pipeline offerings and winning contracts within a specific service portfolio and geographical coverage.
The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in driving business development strategies and contributing to the overall growth of the organization.
They will collaborate with various departments to identify cross-selling opportunities and develop alliances to enter new markets.
Key Accountabilities: Drive and monitor the order intake pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of orders and analyzing key performance indicators. Identify and add new potential clients to the sales pipeline through research and assessment of their fit with the organization's offerings. Lead negotiations and secure major contracts, supporting in tenders and quotations. Close contracts successfully and capture lessons learned for process improvement. Collaborate with different departments to identify cross-selling opportunities and mutual business expansion. Monitor competitor activities, adapt strategies, and focus on generating new sales opportunities. Identify and explore alliances and partnerships to expand business reach. Engage with customers to understand their needs, support customer satisfaction, and explore new markets. Stay updated on organizational offerings and communicate technological solutions to customers effectively. Education: Master's Degree in Economics
Qualifications: +2 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Proficient in sales techniques such as prospecting, lead generation, and deal closures. Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with clients, partners, and vendors. Analytical thinking to assess market trends, competitor activities, and performance metrics for informed decision-making. In-depth industry knowledge to make strategic business decisions based on market trends and competitive landscape. Familiarity with relevant technologies and tools, including CRM systems, for streamlined business development processes. Good communication skills in English and Italian.
