As an Aerospace Lead Auditor for MSC (Management Systems Certification), you will:Lead audit teams to perform assessments according to DNV standards and protocols. Coordinate and conduct 3rd party audits (certification audits) within the aerospace sector. In the role of a Lead Auditor you will:Proceed with regular auditing field activities. Manage relationships with clients and implement an approach of total customer focus. Carry out work for DNV as required by instructions/Quality System and/or as per formal agreement between the client and DNV. Ensure that the independent nature of the DNV scheme is not compromised at any time. Maintain/acquire Auditor Registration with DNV or any other registration necessary for acceptance as Lead Auditor within DNV. Plan and execute audits, report findings and follow-up within agreed timescales and economic frameworks. Meet professional practice standards and demonstrate competence in core areas. Develop and maintain positive relationships with client personnel. Maintain high morale by contributing to an effective positive work environment. Act as a team player who works well with others and guides through the professional development process. Maintain effective communication with line management, audit team members, and client stakeholders. Ensure the correct use of production tools dedicated to auditing activities and communicate updated data for proper management of certificates. Perform typical back-office tasks such as contacting customers to confirm planned activities. Minimum of four years within the last 10 years in the aerospace industry, directly involved in engineering, design, manufacturing, quality, or process control. In-depth knowledge of aerospace industry standards and regulations. Completion of relevant aerospace industry competency courses approved by the Regulatory Management Committee (RMC) or respective Strategic Management System (SMS). Participation in at least two full aerospace industry audits within the past three years, witnessed by qualified Aerospace Experience Auditors or the Accreditation Body (AB). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
