TMC Italia is looking for an Engineer or Physicist based in Florence (Italy) to provide support on lasers and optical communications for space applications.

Validate and verify optical communications system and subsystems through supporting system test validation. Execute Optical Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) procedures, following the AIT Plan. Define specifications and conduct ground tests. Analyze data products from optical/laser instruments, detecting events and anomalies. Process test data and assess optical performance. Develop and implement a development plan, including monitoring workshops and suppliers, as well as preparing purchase orders. Generate technical reports and documentation. What we expect from you MSc degree or PhD in Electronic or Telecommunication Engineering, and Physics with focus in optoelectronics and lasers Competence in optical simulation and lasers Knowledge of Integrated Optical Fluent in Italian and English (spoken and written) What you can expect from us TMC is an international high-tech consultancy company that brings expertise to their clients in order to support them with the realization of their technological challenges.
