Under general supervision and reporting Quality Management in Quality Operations.
The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing visual inspection operations including In-process, Final Inspection, and FAI's as appropriate.
The Quality Inspector must be familiar with hand tools and inspection under magnification.
The Quality Inspector will also assist in verification of test data and all other applicable data concerning components, and associated documentation and other duties identified by cognizant management.
Prefer a US Citizen or Dual Citizenship and are English Fluent

**Job Functions**:
Experienced quality individual in dimensional inspection of aerospace machined components
Experience in performing FAI's - AS9102
Experience with hand measurement tools
Knowledge of CMM Inspection process
Knowledge and experience in GD&T (ASME Y14. 5)
Knowledge and experience with blueprint interpretation
Perform final inspection and receiving inspection (Which includes dimensional, visual inspection, surface finish, and assembly inspection)
Reads, interprets, and utilizes Quality policies, procedures, blueprints, and other documentation
Process warehouse materials
Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines/procedures to perform the functions of the job
Support positive corrective actions and identification of root cause
Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Experienced quality individual in dimensional inspection of aerospace machined components
Experience quality individual in quality inspection in aerospace and defense field
Experience in performing FAI's - AS9102
Experience with hand measurement tools DocuSign
MS Outlook, and EXCEL experience
Experience with hand measurement gages, conduct conventional inspection to engineering requirements
Knowledge and experience in GD&T (ASME Y14. 5)
Knowledge and experience with blueprint interpretation

Fluent English - reading and writing is required

Ability to remain seated for up to 5 hours at a time

Citizenship required
**Preferred Education and Skills (including certifications)**:
3+ years' experience as a quality inspector or technician
3+ years' experience in an aerospace manufacturing facility
3+ years' experience in inspection duties, FAI's GD&T, and b/p interpretation
Proficient with Microsoft Office Products
Effective communication skills
Detail oriented
Any combination of education and experience may be considered
Prior practical experience and implementation of Quality inspection tools and equipment.
Experience in RCCA, and problem-solving
