A modern integrated manufacturing facility (45, 000 sqm, of which 25, 600 sqm covered) with the latest machining technology, in-house state-of-art welding shop and testing shop.
More than 20, 000 valves supplied for critical service, up to 3, 200 m Water Depth and up to 20, 000 psi Design Pressure.
Scope: The Aftersales Engineer is responsible for ensuring the technical compliance of spare parts and service projects, both internally within the company and as the primary technical interface with customers.
This role involves managing technical challenges and providing technical support to clients during site and field operations.
The Aftersales Engineer is also tasked with troubleshooting and conducting technical root cause analysis of failures on ATV's products, all while maintaining a strong orientation toward project success and maintaining the company's reputation.
Responsibilities and main tasks: TECHNICAL SUPPORT: Provide technical support and guidance to customers during installation, commissioning, and operational phases of the equipment.
Address and resolve customer inquiries regarding product performance and maintenance. PROJECT TEAM: Oversee the technical completeness and compliance for delivery of spare parts and site services, providing the required procedures and ensuring all work complies with project specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements. TROUBLESHOOTING AND ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS: Lead initial troubleshooting efforts and conduct technical root cause analysis on equipment failures, suggest solutions and recommendations to minimize product downtime and prevent recurrence. CLIENT LIAISON: Act as the technical interface, managing customer expectations and ensuring technical standards are met. DOCUMENTATION AND REPORTING: Prepare detailed reports, technical investigations, and service records.
Ensure that all documentation is accurate and submitted on time. QUALITY ASSURANCE: Collaborate with the quality and engineering teams to address technical issues related to product defects or quality concerns, and recommend corrective actions. TRAINING AND KNOWLEDGE SHARING: Assist clients with product training, educating them on proper use, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures for the relevant valves and equipment. CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Provide feedback to design and manufacturing teams regarding product performance and potential areas for improvement, contributing to the continuous improvement of products and services. Education, preconditions (if any) and previous experience: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Preferably with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Knowledge: Fluent in English.
Experience with CAD software.
Familiarity with tools for analytical calculation and stress analysis.
Understanding of properties of materials and related specifications.
Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis methods (8D, Ishikawa Diagram, etc).
Principles of Project Management.
