Agency Middle Office Specialist
Mission:
SFI (Structured Finance)
DOD (Debt Optimization and Distribution)
ITB (International Trade and Transaction Banking)
DAS (Distressed Assets)
This entails:
Working in a team with different skills and serving different functions (see detailed functions below), including all regular reporting duties, communication with operational and functional management, and representation of the Agency and Middle-Office team in relevant committees or forum
Overseeing the daily monitoring of the activity and ensuring proper execution, monitoring the SFI portfolio by controlling the different data captured into the different tools used to monitor financing activities (SMAC for all SFI sub-divisions (DIH, EIG, LBO ).
and LoanTracker for the monitoring of DOD and ITB portfolio)
Overseeing the monthly anomaly reports in connection with all services to determine the reason for the anomaly and ensure proper follow through to clear the exception
Attending internal Steering Committees in connection with new systems, new product offerings and projects that may have an impact on the Agency and Middle-Office team (responsibilities, missions, way of working, tasks, etc)
Main responsabilities:
The following are typical Agency and Middle Office functions that are completed by AMO staff, Importante Azienda the normal course of business.
All of these tasks are designed to strengthen internal controls and to maintain segregation of duties between the Front, the Back and the Agency and Middle Office team.
Agency and Middle-Office functions include inter alia
Analyzing the Loans documentation in order to be able to provide opinion on thetechnical operational clauses of the contract
Assisting on closings / CP's monitoring
Tracking and evaluation of all borrower deliverables (compliance, financial model, insurance)
Coordinating follow-up with borrowers
Updating periodic collateral valuations
Covenant follow-up for all roles (agent, sole lender, participant)
Evaluating CP's for construction draws, lease payments, borrower distributions, etc.
Directing independent engineers, lender counsel and other experts
Negotiating routine waivers and amendments with borrowers
Managing waiver and amendments requests
Responding to participants' questions
Coordinating accounting treatment of upfront fees with Business Lines, OPC and Finance
Collecting and processing of participant lender approvals
Collecting, tracking and submitting legal documents for safekeeping
Capture, maintain and update the static data into the various management tools (SMAC, Loantracker, BMA (STI)
Coordinating assignment process
Interfacing with Head Office, as needed
Interfacing with FO / BO and L/C department for all Agency operational aspects
Interfacing with Legal, Compliance, Credit Risk, Finance and Tax Functions
**Education**:
Work experience:
6 - 10 years in Banking Sector
Expertise in Agency activities acquired from past experience (at least 5 years), with a special focus in administration of Leverage Buy-Out deals
Autonomy in organizing daily activities
Required skills:

Strong teamwork attitude
Advanced MS Office suite knowledge
Good knowledge of Investment Bank products
