Agro Energy Engineering Project Manager
RINA is currently recruiting for a Agro Energy Engineering Project Manager to join its office in Milano or Genova, Italy within the Sustainability and Business Innovation Division. Mission The ESG & Sustainability Business Unit of RINA, within the Energy Business Line, is seeking a highly motivated person to support the team in the project management of international projects focused on sustainable agriculture and agro-energy, especially on biofuels production. Working in our Milan Office and at Client facilities, the successful candidate shall have strong interest in sustainability, agronomy, bioenergy, energy transition, decarbonization, circular and green economy topics, good communications skills and a strong teamwork attitude. Key Accountabilities The new resource will be part of a team heading sustainability challenges in the framework of international agro-energy projects for the sustainable production of biofuels, contributing to the coordination of the entire supply chain, from the point of origin of the agri-feedstock to the obligated party, and he/she will: Manage the entire project as the main contact point for the client, understanding needs and meeting requests through the coordination of the technical team in an efficient way. Coordinate a multidisciplinary team of technical experts (both RINA colleagues and external consultants) and interact with local counterparts in the countries of operations. Support in the elaboration and revision of technical deliverables for the client assuring the whole project standard of quality. Monitor the budget progress of the project, dealing with passive and active invoicing, controlling costs and contributing to report on budget variances. Identify and develop new project opportunities, prepare effective technical proposals and cost estimates. Qualifications Master's degree in environmental engineering or energy engineering. Not less than 3 years of experience is required. Experience in project management is required. Excellent communication skills in English both oral and written. Other languages will be considered as a plus. Ability to write well-structured, concise and well-reasoned reports, proposals and documents. Availability for business trips within and outside EU. Very good knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, Power Point. Soft Skills Managerial aptitude, capacity to satisfy demanding clients. Excellent communication skills, team player. Be proactive. Ability to organize work and prioritize actions. Positive and result-oriented attitude. Learning the technical aspects of the project by interacting with the technical team.
