NoOffer DescriptionThe research activities will focus on developing biotechnological techniques and their application in the genetic improvement of fruit species, particularly kiwifruit, to support the development of new varieties and rootstocks resilient to the climate crisis.

In particular, the characteristics on which the activity will focus will concern: the improvement of fruit quality, with reference to organoleptic characteristics and shelf life; tolerance to biotic and abiotic stress, with reference to the use of rootstocks for adaptation to soils, as in the case of regrowth; the creation of new varieties suitable for different environments; and increase in biodiversity.
