Job Description:AI & ML Specialist - Fincantieri NexTech Location: Italy - Genova - Roma - Trieste

JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced AI & ML Specialist to join our agile data science team.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms and be able to work independently and as part of a team to deliver innovative AI-powered solutions.

ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement AI and ML models to solve real-world business problems.

Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to design, develop, and deploy AI solutions.

Stay up-to-date on the latest AI and ML trends and technologies.

Conduct research and experiments to identify new opportunities for AI applications.

Prepare and present technical documentation and reports.

Participate in code reviews and unit testing to ensure high-quality code delivery.

Mentor and support junior data scientists and engineers within the team.

REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in AI and ML development.

Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning techniques, natural language processing, computer vision, and reinforcement learning.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.

Experience with big data technologies and frameworks (MLOps, Explainable AI).

Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras.

Knowledge about MLOps.

Knowledge about Explainable AI.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
