The company is a leading provider of Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and Monitoring Radar solutions worldwide. For our Pisa based office we are looking for an Ai Software Engineer. The person will work in a diverse team tasked with understanding and studying a specific issue related to the use of radar systems and other sensors.

They will then design and develop the necessary software architectures to efficiently implement data processing algorithms based on AI, including all specific techniques such as Deep Learning, CNNs, Generative AI, etc.

The solutions developed will be integrable into the software products of the Radar & Monitoring division or will themselves become new products. The role also includes experimental activities, such as programming and managing measurement campaigns with prototypes or systems that are under development or already on the market. What we want you to do:Analysis and schematization of technical issues related to the data collected by IDS GeoRadar productsConception of AI-based data processing algorithms to solve identified and contextualized problemsDevelopment of the code implementing the conceived solution; code management, function testing, and result verificationMaintenance activities for the developed codePossible measurement campaigns with IDS GeoRadar products or system prototypesCompliance with health and safety guidelines and requirements in the workplace, as well as at client, partner, supplier sites, and testing locationsAdditional tasks that may be assigned from time to time. What would we like to see:Master's degree in computer engineering, artificial intelligence and data science/engineering, robotics and automation engineering, mathematics, or physics with a specialization in scientific programming or PHD in data science/data processing10+ years of proven experience in the required area of expertiseKnowledge of Deep Learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, etc.
