Air & Ocean Customer Service Specialist
Objectives of the Position Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate movement of Air & Ocean freight, providing exceptional customer service to our customers.
Principle Accountabilities Ensure smooth and timely Air & Ocean freight process workflow.
Ensure timely movement and delivery of Air & Ocean freight to customers.
Interact with our customers in arranging their Air & Ocean shipments, exceeding customer service expectations.
Contribute to maintain strong relationships with suppliers (airlines, trucking companies, and others) and customers.
Ensure all customers' standard operating procedures are followed and updated.
Meet KPI standards, as per company procedures.
Be a "Champion" of the Rhenus Air & Ocean" Values in the day-by-day activities.
Requirements Secondary School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree.
Minimum of 3-year experience within the Air & Ocean freight, transportation, or logistics industry.
Ability to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds.
Understanding of transportation documentations and incoterms.
Possess strong skills in communication, customer service, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently as well as under pressure in troubleshooting situations.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
Strong work-ethic and integrity.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
