Air Logistics Operational Care Specialist

Your Role Specifically, the Operational Care Specialist will be part of a team (Operational Care Centers) responsible for coordinating transport activities by: executing the necessary bookings with our partners and gateways, executing the requisite data entry associated with transport document generation, generating the required documentation, and liaising with our customer care specialists to ensure specific requirements are met (Transit Times, Carrier selection, Routings etc. ). All of these activities are to be performed in compliance with rules and regulations governing air transport and associated national protocols and executed via KN operational systems. Your Responsibilities Coordinate and align customer deliverables with customer care teams, partners and suppliers to manage the transportation of customer's cargo. To review and ensure alignment of shipping instructions including to clarify any deviations/conflicts in contradiction to country regulations, export/import compliance and rate and routing information. To immediately report problems, operational disputes or discrepancies to supervisors, managers, divisional managersTo monitor operational performance of carriers and other vendors and escalate / create awareness if performance and commitments are not being delivered. To initiate and resolve any rate or performance discrepancies. To work with Sales and Customer Care teams on account implementation, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to operations. (Detailed task provided at end of document)Manage and Perform All Tasks Reliably, Accurately and On-Time According to Defined Operational Care Standards and KPI's. Drive Accurate Status and Real-Time Visibility in AirLOG. Negotiate and maintain vendors and support OCC manager to ensure their tariffs are uploaded into AirLOG. Collaborate with the Customer Care Location to ensure we deliver on our customer service commitments. Direct communication
with customers on operational topicsCollaborate with the Revenue Care Centre to ensure all costs and exceptions are noted in real time to enable accurate invoicing and maximize GP. Your Skills and Experiences Bachelor Degree in Economics, Import/ Export, Logistics, or related fieldsHaving 1-2 years working experience (experience in Freight Forwarders or Air Logistics would be a plus)Analytical & Organizing SkillsTeamworkTime Management and ability to meet deadlinesProblem SolvingEnglish language- medium levelProactivenessDriving license would be a plusThe ideal candidate must have a "can do" and service related mentality, and show an ability to communicate and coordinate with colleagues, suppliers and partners. A high level of attention to details is a must, coupled with communication and organizational skills. Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
