ASSEMBLY INTEGRATION AND TEST ENGINEER

THE ROLEWe deliver innovative mechanical engineering solutions for ground and space-based optical applications. We are seeking an AIT ENGINEER to take care of the integration and alignment of our opto-mechanical systems.

The ideal candidate is passionate about hands-on work and thrives in a collaborative environment.

We're looking for a team player who can work closely with the engineering team and is eager to tackle challenges head-on.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Telescope mechanical integrationTelescope optical alignment (mainly in Cleanroom)Electro-optical instrumentation utilization (interferometers, theodolite, CCD cameras, etc)Integration, alignment and validation of measurement set upTelescope optical data processingTest report production

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSDegree in Physics or in Engineering, a high-school diploma can be accepted if the candidate has more than 3 years of experience in opto-mechanical systems integrationWork Experience: 1 – 3 yearsOptical fundamentalsExperience in mechanical integration of optomechanical systemsExperience in the use of instruments and standard toolsCapability in reading of mechanical drawingsStrong analytical and problem-solving attitudeGood EnglishAttitude to team working and collaboration with Engineering

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of optical images processingFundamentals of interferometric measurementsExperience in optical alignment of optomechanical systemsExperience in preparation of optomechanical system measurement set upKnowledge of Zemax
